sunday express hvarf/heim review'

the icelandic art-rockers, beloved of gwyneth paltrow and tom cruise, will swell their fan base further with one of their most accessible albums yet on hvarf's (disappeared) five new or obscure old songs, the band find intricate, inventive ways of building from pared-back simplicity to a breathtaking orchestral soundscape; the apocalyptically beautiful i gaer is an especial highlight. six familiar acoustic tracks, recorded in concert but sounding studio slick, follow on heim (home).
