it doesn't take a genius to imagine what "thom yorke's favourite band" might sound like. lyrics sung in hopelandic, a language that has no translation, melodies that gods would play to soundtrack the dawn of time, played on instruments you've never heard before.

welcome to iceland's sigur ros, where words don't exist and six minutes of one melody repeated is a pop song. not taxiride then.

while little has changed since their debut, when your music is this distinctive you leave change to those struggling in the shadows of others.
