amina (the string quartet which has been playing with sigur ros since 1999, for those who don’t know) are going to be playing at the formanova electronica festival in denmark on july 9th. they are currently writing new solo material and will be joining sigur ros in the studio later in the week to record strings for the new sigur ros album. new sigur ros songs which amina will appear on include mílano, which amina wrote with the band. the two groups plan to record this song “live” in the studio. for more information on amina, check out this interview from last year.
