síðasti bærinn (the last farm), the icelandic short film scored by sigur r;oacute;s’s kjartan sveinsson, has won the the prize of best nordic short film at this year’s nordisk panorama film festival. the film, directed by rúnar rúnarsson, is about an aged farmer and his wife who live in the last remaining farm in an icelandic valley. kjartan’s score, which features strings only, is not likely to be released so we would like to give people a listen on the site. you can download the
