kjartan, orri and maría from amina ventured to the fishing village ísafjörður last week to play the first sigur ros concert of the year, although this wasn’t a conventional sigur ros concert; kjartan was singer and guitarist of this band, which he has named ‘the lonesome traveller’. the songs played (flugufrelsarinn, dauðalagið, hjartað hamast and leit af lífi) thus had a different feel to them than usual. you can look at photos and download a bootleg of the songs played on this page.
