the icelandic film ‘screaming masterpiece’ documents the flourishing music scene in iceland today and contains around 20 minutes of footage from sigur rós concerts. the audio in the sigur rós segments was mixed by sigur rós themselves. smekkleysa (sigur rós’s record label in iceland) are now selling the film’s soundtrack, which contains three songs with sigur rós, including a ten minute extract from their unreleased orchestral piece odin’s raven magic. the cd, which also features music by some of the most interesting musicians in iceland today, is available to buy here. the film itself will be available on dvd in the autumn.
