swaziland photo exhibition

in late september the members of sigur rós travelled to africa to visit HIV-positive orphans in swaziland. the trip was carried out in cooperation with UNICEF as part of a campaign to raise awareness of the 40% HIV infection rate in swaziland, which is the highest in the world. the band members took a number of striking photographs of the children they visited and a selection of these photos will be exhibited from november 30th to december 7th at liborius (mýrargata 3) in reykjavík. the photographs will be auctioned off between 4pm and 6pm on november 30th, with all proceeds going to UNICEF in swaziland.
