choreographer merce cunningham passed away on sunday the 26th of july aged 90. he was known to sigur rós fans through the ‘split sides’ dance collaboration his company did with sigur rós and radiohead in 2003. more information on his life and career is available on his website merce.org and ‘split sides’ information is here.
