jónsi scores new cameron crowe film

jónsi will be providing the music for the upcoming cameron crowe film, we bought a zoo, starring matt damon and scarlett johansson. crowe describes the movie as a music-filled experience, about a man who moves his family to the countryside to revive a foreclosed zoo after his wife passes away.

this isn’t the first time jónsi has lent songs to a cameron crowe film – in 2001 a few sigur rós songs were featured in vanilla sky, including a live recording of the then-unreleased njósnavélin.
