This is probably my most memorable Sigur Rós gig yet. It almost justified the high ticket price. In no particular order, front row ticket, superb sounds and visions, very respectful crowd, drumstick, great customer service from Darren, 4 tracks from ( ). Only downside was the over zealous security concerned about picture taking “next warning and you’re out!” So no pics of the second set for me but maybe that made me enjoy it even more. And finally, seeing Orri skateboarding outside the front of the venue afterwards before realising those strange people were waiting for him!
A fantastic, special couple of days. No sign of Jarvis Cocker or Bill Bailey this time though.
Thanks boys, just keep doing what you do and see you in Reykjavík.
